Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Nature of Digital Asset Exchanges
ChangeCoinPay operates as a non-custodial digital asset exchange aggregator. All exchange transactions are executed via third-party liquidity providers (including ChangeNOW) and are processed on public blockchain networks. Due to the irreversible nature of blockchain transactions, completed exchanges cannot be reversed or cancelled.
2. Cancellation Before Payment
You may cancel an order at any time before sending funds to the deposit address. Once funds have been sent to the deposit address, the transaction is considered initiated and cannot be cancelled.
To cancel a pending order before sending funds, simply do not send any payment. Orders with no incoming funds will automatically expire within 20 minutes of creation.
3. Failed or Underpaid Transactions
If the amount you send is significantly less than the required exchange amount (underpayment), our liquidity provider may:
- Return the funds to your refund address (if provided at the time of exchange)
- Contact you via order tracking to arrange a refund
- Apply a minimum exchange amount; amounts below this threshold may be treated as network fees
We strongly recommend always providing a refund address when creating an exchange, as this allows automatic return of funds in failure scenarios.
4. Overpayment
If you send more than the required amount, the exchange will be processed for the full amount received (subject to liquidity provider limits). Any excess will be included in the exchange output.
5. Transaction Delays
Due to blockchain network congestion or confirmation time requirements, some exchanges may take longer than the estimated completion time. These delays do not constitute grounds for a refund. Typical completion times are 5–60 minutes depending on the blockchain network.
6. Exchange Rate Changes
Digital asset prices are highly volatile. Exchange rates displayed are indicative only and may change between order creation and execution. ChangeCoinPay and its liquidity providers use the rate at the time funds are received by the deposit address. We cannot guarantee a specific output amount.
7. How to Request a Refund
If you believe you are entitled to a refund (e.g., exchange failed, funds not received), please contact us within 30 days of the transaction:

- Subject: "Refund Request – Order ID [your order ID]"
- Include: your Order ID, sending wallet address, transaction hash, and the issue description
We will investigate and respond within 3–5 business days. Confirmed refunds are processed through our liquidity provider and typically complete within 1–7 business days, subject to blockchain network conditions.
8. Non-Refundable Cases
- User error in entering the recipient wallet address
- Sending to an incompatible network (e.g., sending BEP-20 tokens to an ERC-20 address)
- Change of mind after a successful exchange has been completed
- Losses due to exchange rate fluctuations
- Transactions blocked or rejected by regulatory authorities
